There are gestures that transform days and presences that make all the difference.
The + Closer project aims to combat loneliness, social isolation, and situations of greater vulnerability in the municipality of Alcoutim, promoting a close-knit intervention with the population.
The + Closer project aims to combat loneliness, social isolation, and situations of greater vulnerability in the municipality of Alcoutim, promoting a close-knit intervention with the population.
Through the Emergency Operational Structure of the Tavira Humanitarian Center of the Portuguese Red Cross, close and personalized support is provided to elderly people and those in situations of isolation, carried out by a team consisting of a psychologist and a social worker.
These photographs reflect the work carried out on the ground and the daily commitment to being there for those who need it most.
